Ann Lavin-Cassidy, ADCRG
Founded
the Lavin-Cassidy School of Irish Dancing in 1986, shortly after
her arrival in the United States. While living in Ireland, Ann taught
dance with Margaret Dunleavy in County Sligo and County Mayo. Ann
has won the Great Britain Championships, and has placed several
times in the All-Ireland and World Championships.
She is TCRG certified and is also an accredited
adjudicator.
Laura
Stack, ADCRG
Teaching
with Lavin-Cassidy since 1994. Laura danced for Lavin-Cassidy and
has won both our Regional and National Championships. Laura was
the first American ever to place at the All-Ireland Championships.
She has placed 7th in both the World Championships and the All-Ireland
Championships. In January 2004, she was accredited as an adjudicator.
Emma
Jane Lavin, TCRG
Anns
sister, Emma came from Ireland in 1992 to reside permanently in
Chicago. Emma Jane has won 1st place at the World Championships
four times in solo dancing and numerous times in team competition.
Emma Jane is the only teacher in America to hold as many titles.

Karen
Farrelly, TCRG
Teaching
with the school since 1998. Karen danced for Lavin-Cassidy and has
competed at Regional, National, and World Championship levels. She
has placed 2nd in her Regional Competition and has placed in the
top 10 in her National Region. She has also danced in several teams
that have placed 1st in both Regional and National competitions.
Katie
Hutchinson, TCRG
Teaching
with the school since 1998. Katie danced for Lavin-Cassidy and has
competed at Regional, National, and World Championship levels. She
has placed 1st in Regional Competitions and placed in the top 5
in the National Championships. She has danced in several teams that
have won both Regional and National competitions.
Sinead
Tritschler, TCRG
Teaching
with the school since 1996, Sinead danced for Lavin-Cassidy and
has competed at Regional, National, and World Championship levels.
Placing 2nd in Regional Competitions and 3rd in National Championships,
she has also danced in several teams over the years that have won
both Oireachtas and National Competitions.
